A Four-Position Interior Lighting Kit for the GLC X253

This is a car ambient lighting modification for the Mercedes-Benz GLC X253. Instead of a single light strip, the kit is specified by light position: it covers central control saddle lights, front foot socket light, four-door ambient light and four door handle lights. That list is what defines the product — it tells you which parts of the cabin will be lit, not just how many colours the light can show.

Central Control Saddle Lights and Front Foot Socket Light 

The first two positions are the central control saddle lights on the centre console and the front foot socket light at the front footwell. These are the two positions that carry the strongest sense of depth in a GLC cabin: the console saddle trim runs through the middle of the interior, and the front foot area is the part of the floor area that is normally left dark.

Four-Door Ambient Light and Four Door Handle Lights

The kit also covers the four-door ambient light and the four door handle lights. Adding the door handle position to the door panel position is what makes the side of the cabin read as a continuous line when the doors are closed, and it gives passengers a visible light source exactly where their hand goes when they reach for the handle.
